Tattooed & Strong brings together our love of the powerlifting and tattoo sub-culture to create a truly unique lifting experience.
It was whilst walking around at The Tattoo Teaparty and casually mentioning putting on a powerlifting competition at a tattoo convention would be a really cool thing to do that set the ball rolling. As experienced and succesful lifters the mission was to create a competition that we would love to lift at. Something quirky & exciting that would be a truly memorable experience for everyone involved. Now seven years on Tattooed & Strong is the most exciting event in the UK’s powerlifting calendar attracting lifters from around the UK and beyond. It is open to lifters of all levels, from first timers right through to professional strongmen. Everyone shares the platform.
Tattooed & Strong is a GPC-GB sanctioned powerlifting competition known as a push-pull which is bench press & deadlift and as such can be used to set GPC-GB records and as a single lift qualifier for for the Brititsh Championships as well as the European and World Championships. Lifting takes takes on both days (8th & 9th April 2023) at The Tattoo Tea Party.
